Tweet How about visiting Italy in the autumn ?  It will be cooler and much less crowded than in the summer, and it will be colourful.  As I mentioned recently, the autumn colours of the green Italian region of Abruzzo really caught my eye.  Luckily, quite a number of photographers have be capturing the mood and colours of autumn in Abruzzo and here are ten of their photographs. As you will discover, the Italian region of Abruzzo, which is photogenic all year round, becomes an absolute photographer’s delight in Autumn.

Tweet Well, I wax lyrical about all things Italy on quite a regular basis, as you may have noticed if you visit Italy Chronicles regularly.  There are moans and grumbles from time to time, but at the end of the day, I do love this quirky, if at times mischevious nation. I suppose it’s about time I told you just where I’ve been in Italy, but just do not ask me to pick a favourite region, as out of those I have visited, I simply cannot.  Every single Italian region I know has something interesting to offer, and that is no exaggeration.

Tweet Aside from Italy’s prime minister Silvio Berlusconi who is facing charges of having paid for sex with underage prostitute Ruby, which he denies, three close associates of Berlusconi are now facing charges of aiding and abetting prostitution. Prosecuting magistrates have not minced their words, stating that it is their belief that the three people concerned effectively set up and ran a brothel for Italy’s prime minister . Running this personal house of ill repute took place, prosecutors say, in the style of a small business.
